For homes priced between $450K – $650K, homes were staying on market an average of 53 days in January. January was considered a seller’s market.
In the $650K – $800K range, January was considered a “neutral market.” Price per sq ft actually dropped from the month before, down to $292 per sq ft from $308 in December.
Homes between $700K – $1 million also experienced a neutral market. Of the 40 homes on market, seven went into escrow in January.
January was a buyer’s market for homes priced above $1 million. Of the 22 Camarillo homes available between $1 million – $1.5 million, three homes went into escrow.
