Moorpark Real Estate Market Trends Report, June 2016

    The following trends report includes data for the last 14 months.  The summary report is for May 2016, the most current month for when data is available.

    For homes below $500,000, May property sales were 10, the same as in May of 2015 and 25% higher than the 8 sales in April.

    For homes between $500,000 – $800,000, May property sales were 22, down 4.3% from 23 in May of 2015 and 29.4% higher than the 17 sales in April.

    For homes between $800,000 – $1.2 Million, May property sales were 3, up 200% from 1 in May of 2015 and 57.1% lower than the 7 sales in April.

    May was a Buyer’s Market for homes between $1.2 Million – $2 Million. The May 2016 Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales of 14 was
    increased by 7.7% compared to last year and up 146.5% compared to
    April.
